WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING
:

  • Luke Curtis fixed our small table.  The legs were coming off.

  • A patron has been using the computers again after being quarantined from them for 3 months.    He knows that he is on his last chance to use them if he does not get off at closing time.  We have had no problems at this time.

  • I met with Jennifer Nault about the Library hosting a parenting class centered around “bullying.”  Jennifer will write the grant and engage the presenter.  Good PR for the Library.

  • *1/21 –Met with Kate McGowan, from Addison County United Way, about the Library being a   “Fast Tax Site” - VITA site for income eligible folks to prepare their taxes for free.  We will have one of our computers designated for this purpose. This service will start on Feb. 13th.

  • Beth Trombly and Clara Dixon (2 parents of teens) led the Teen Movie Night while I was away.  It’s nice to know that this program can continue when I’m busy or away.

  • The Theme Baskets for the Silent Auction are in display in all their glory.  We already have quite a few bids.

ACTION ITEM:
