HIGHLIGHTS

6/14 -  Steve Buker came today and worked on the driveway all day.  I was here in the afternoon and he was still hard at work.  He created a canal for the water to drain off from the end of the driveway.   Thank you note and gift certificate – Tina?

6/14 -  Pike Industries donated 2 loads of fill and the cost of trucking it to our site.  I will type up a letterhead thank you and get it signed by Walt and mail it.  Lise Lathrop purchased the soil dug up by the driveway project for $100.

6/21 -  The Echo Pass which has always been free to VT Libraries has decided to charge $50 from now until March 2012.

6/22 - Meredith washed the windows and found that the putty was drooping on the windows in the adult area. Luke Curtis fixed this for us.  Meredith also found that the door in the children’s room has moisture between the panes of glass.  Her husband advised us to look into our warranty, which I did.  It is for 20 years.  I have a call into Naylor & Breen.

6/23 - I talked to Luke about the sidewalk where the weeds are growing in the cracks.  Luke is going to dig out the weeds and fill the crack with gravel which will allow for expansion.

6/29 -  Andrew Rainville’s Aunt Barb sent us a grant application to help with our “ditch” effort.  Tina looked into it and found out that our project would not qualify.

7/8 -  Today (when checking on the router since the internet was down) I found a leak in the boiler room.  I called Luke and he came right over to look at it.  He found the source, turned off the water to that source to stop the leak and advised me to call our plumber (Champlain Valley Plumbing and Heating.)  They are coming to fix it on Monday.
